La crise financière mondiale pourrait déclencher des émeutes au sein de la population urbaine grandissante dans le monde, alors que des habitants n’arrivent plus à payer leur loyer, a averti mercredi une responsable du programme des Nations Unies pour l’habitat.
« Il s’agit vraiment d’une crise financière liée au logement », a observé Anna Tibaijuka, la directrice du Programme des Nations Unies pour l’habitat (ONU-Habitat), en présentant un rapport annuel de l’Onu sur l’état des villes dans le monde.
